2023 Albuquerque Fat Ass Series

Hey, instead of sitting around on your butt, come out for some free, unsupported, completely unorganized (mostly) trail running fun around the Albuquerque area. All events are laid back and most have “official” shorter distances in addition to the full 50k distance. Every event other than the Baldy 50k is on well-traveled trails where you can expect to see several other people and where you’re never particularly far from civilization.
This race series was started in 2010. Over the years a few races have been added or removed and different people have organized different events, but people “in the know” have been showing up even when these web pages haven’t been kept up to date. The people who show up are friendly and knowledgable, so don’t be shy.
